Throughout my life so far I have enjoyed the company of animals - rabbits, parrots, mice, a turtle and, above all, dogs. However, I had never had a cat - not before 14 February 2003 when Zuza - female Russian blue cat from Warsaw cattery Ewjatar moved into my family house.
When I decided to move out from my parents', it was obvious that another cat should join us as Zuza's playmate. In October 2004 we visited the 'Uroczysko" cattery of Ania and Robert, looking for a "black huge tomcat" for the in-laws. As a result of this visit, black and white tomcat named Bor moved into the house of Michał's parents, and spotted female Bjork into ours. It was then that we got the idea that perhaps Bjork ought to appear at an exhibition. Thanks to the assistance of Ania and Robert, we got bitten by the exhibition bug and 
in 2005 we registered our cattery with FIFE under the name "Mroon".
While browsing through internet sites of various catteries, I came across a photograph of a female car which I fell absolutely in love with - S*Justcatnaps Olivia. At that time I was already certain that the next Norwegian to live with us would be the same colour as her - blue solid. Back then there were no blue Norwegians in Poland at all - whether at exhibitions or in catteries. We began looking abroad. and my dream of a blue Norwegian came true with Audrey.
Another female cat moved in with us at the beginning of 2007 - S*Langagens piggelin. As soon as I saw photos of SW'06 GIC S*Nenyas Gentelman Jim JW, I was ready to sell my soul to the devil just to get his daughter for our cattery. 
It did take a while before I managed to convince Lotta - Jim's owner - that our home would be best for piggelin. I fell head over heels in love with her - to me she is a nearly perfect Norwegian .
In 2007 we made a decision to sterilize Bjork, and in 2008 also Tosia joined the group of the happy neuters.
Our breeding plan has been based on the Pipi lines. In 2008, after much efforts and owing to the help of our befriended breeders the first litter of S*Langangens Piggelin and the exceptional cat SC Uno av Sandrabben*N, DM living in the Dutch cattery Sterrekatten*NL were born. 
From this litter we have our boy Otello.
In 2009 we chose a fantastic cat GIC DK Rimturser's Salsa for Piggelin's second husband. Salsa lives in the German cattery D*Twinkle Kitty's. Words cannot express how grateful we are to Denise. From that litter we have the host-cat, Petronella.
In 2010 Pipi's third litter with a beautiful cat from a Swedish cattery - SC S*Zimexis Tristar, DVM living in the cattery Zwycięzca Troli*PL were born. Grażyna, thank you so much.
2010 was a year of a lot of joys for us but also many changes and difficult decisions. Owing to Piggelin's health complications we made a decision that she would be mated again: this time, the beautiful grandchild of the unforgettable D*Afjords Cyrano DM, DSM - GIC Celt z Sosnowego Boru*PL was chosen. Celt lives with Viola, in the cattery Leśny Łowca*PL. Due to the fact that Piggelin is most important to us, we decided that it would be her last litter and she would become a happy neuter.
At the end of 2010 S*Utblickens Trulsa, tortoise-shell destiny joined our cattery. It was possible owing to the politeness of Ylva from cattery S*Utblickens and Leszka from cattery Duszek Lasu*PL. At that time, also my dream of extending the cattery by the white girl came true. In November Torunn Lilia Av Snofjord*CH started living with us.
We entered the year 2011 with new ambitions, new breeding plans and new dreams, at the same time continuing our work on S*Langangens Piggelin lines. What will be the outcome? We will see in a certain time. One thing does not change: fascination with the Norwegians!
The features which I like so much with Norwegians are, most of all, the head, i.e. the strong chin, large ears with tuffs, a perfect profile and a beautifully formed forehead. And the character, which for me is a priority in breeding. We attach a great importance to the health of our cats. Their hearts are examined regularly with regard for HCM and they are all examined for GSD4.
